Job summary

RTX’s Collins Aerospace in Jacksonville seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to design and refine polyurethane production, create molds and processes, and ensure quality and on-time delivery. You will work with operations and quality teams to improve safety, documentation, and workflow efficiency.

You must be a US citizen able to obtain DoD clearance and relocate to Jacksonville, FL. The role emphasizes Lean/CORE methods and cross-functional collaboration on an onsite team.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• Local to or willing to relocate to Jacksonville, FL.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support design and development of polyurethane products.
• Design polyurethane molds, processes, and documentation to meet specs.
• Ensure products meet performance, reliability and producibility requirements.
• Collaborate with floor supervisors to meet schedule and address issues.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials and production routers.
• Prepare lift plans and perform lift evolutions weekly.
• Document processes using Standard Work and TPM improvements.
