Job summary

Arconic Corporation in Davenport, Iowa is seeking Engineers to join our Davenport Works team. You will take ownership of electrical, mechanical and quality systems and help ensure safety and performance of equipment and infrastructure.

In this role you will drive cross-disciplinary problem solving with engineering, maintenance and production, oversee projects from concept to closeout, and deliver solutions that improve processes and reliability while supporting the production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field (mechanical, electrical, chemical or relevant).
• 1 engineering internship OR 1 year of engineering experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Relocation is available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Drive and engage in cross-disciplinary problem-solving efforts with engineering, maintenance and production teams.
• Oversee all phases of engineering projects – from initial concept and scope development through written specifications, bid solicitation, detailed design, manufacturing coordination, equipment commissioning and final project closeout.
• Develop solutions to support process improvements and enhance equipment reliability, while providing technical assistance to production and maintenance teams.
