Job summary

RegO, a Dover Corp brand, seeks an onsite Procurement Buyer in Elon, NC to support daily production needs and strengthen supplier relationships. The role reports to Operations and ensures on‑time material flow across multiple manufacturing sites.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in business or related field, 3–5 years of manufacturing purchasing experience, and strong ERP/Excel skills. READ BLUEPRINTS, apply Lean concepts, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, quantitative fields or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Computer savvy with ERP, Excel, MS Office Suite, etc.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints and understand manufacturing processes.
• Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Self-motivated with ability to complete tasks with little supervision.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and purchasing cost reduction methods.
• Proficiency with terms, analytics, negotiation and MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Day to day procurement activities to ensure on time deliveries, inventory levels and supplier relationship management.
• Independently purchasing a wide array of inventory items using ERP.
• Improve supplier performance by monitoring quality, cost, delivery, and inventory metrics.
• Assure replenishment parameters are maintained by purchasing to support customers and inventory management.
• Work with suppliers for improvement opportunities in terms of cost, quality, delivery and lead time.
• Resolve pricing and receiving discrepancies with vendors, coordinate with accounts payable department.
