Job summary

Onni Group of Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support residents at a Hollywood property. You will perform preventative maintenance, repair HVAC/electrical/plumbing, and manage apartment turns while delivering excellent tenant service.

On-call rotations and on-site inspections are part of the role. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a craft apprenticeship or equivalent, and at least four years in manufacturing with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
• Minimum four years of manufacturing experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.
• Some PLC experience and HVAC experience; vacuum furnace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, monitor, and/or perform preventative maintenance and apartment turns.
• Diagnose problems and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems.
• Respond to work orders promptly and professionally.
• Ensure timely and quality completion of maintenance tasks and unit turnovers.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants; participate in on-call rotations.
• Inspect buildings/grounds for safety and cleanliness; flag issues for repair.
• Assist supervisor with vendor communication, bids, and contractor oversight.
• Assist with purchasing maintenance supplies within budget; prepare invoices per guidelines.
• Communicate maintenance status to supervisor; participate in trainings.
