Job summary

The Black Tux is seeking a thorough Multi-Skilled Technician to maintain and service premises at our on-site facilities. You will work autonomously to preserve the good condition and functionality of our warehouse environment, following health and safety guidelines.

This role requires mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge, plus hands-on skills and a proactive mindset. Responsibilities include general maintenance, installation support, and equipment lifecycle management.

Qualifications

Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing is essential.
Experience diagnosing and repairing machine failures and troubleshooting tools.
Attentive to detail with thorough inspections and repairs.
Software tools for diagnostics, maintenance tracking, and communication.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance repairs daily.
Operate and troubleshoot conveyors, compressors, boilers, and related equipment.
Assist with installation of new equipment and ensure assets are in good condition.
Prioritize safety and compliance as the highest priority.
Resolve issues throughout equipment life cycle.
Basic computer skills (emails, MS Office).
Must have a valid driver’s license.
