Job summary

McCormack Baron is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain our apartment communities. This on-site role requires a customer-centric mindset as you interact with residents and support safety and preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities include electrical, carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair, painting, and other common tasks. You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor with work orders, unit turns, and inventory

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in resident maintenance, HVAC knowledge a plus.
• Must have strong communication to interact with residents and colleagues.
• Able to follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Dependable with reliable attendance and ability to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair, painting and other apartment repairs.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with daily work orders, unit turns, preventive maintenance, and related duties.
• Adhere to dress code and safety practices; use protective equipment as required.
• Complete work orders electronically and manually; maintain an organized maintenance shop with inventories.
