Pitney Bowes is hiring for a full-time, onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician Trainee position at our Brown Deer, WI facility.

Shift: 2nd shift, Saturday – Friday, 4pm – 12am (midnight)

Base Rate: $24.00/hr + $2.00/hr for 2nd shift

  • Experienced in electro-mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment.

You will:

  • Perform mechanical and electronic repairs on equipment, including printers and mail sorting machines.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance following Mail Preparation Total Quality Management standards and vendor guidelines.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.
  • Manage inventory, work orders, and maintain spare parts and supplies.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

As an Onsite Maintenance Technician Trainee, you have:

  • At least one year of experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical equipment (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Windows PC environment related to automated equipment (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize, and work under deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 80% of the workday.
