Job summary

PRIDE Industries in Texas is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment at customer locations. This onsite role requires practical skills across painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work, with emphasis on safety and efficient problem-solving.

You will follow established procedures, travel between facilities as needed, and contribute to keeping sites in good condition.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience in general building maintenance.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to travel to various facilities.
• Ability to work safely and follow directions, instructions, structured processes and procedures.
• Customer service skills to act responsively to inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
• Repair sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
• Paint structures and equipment.
• Repair concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
• Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
• Hang doors and install locks.
• Replace broken window panes.
• Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• May assist with sign-making tasks.
• May purchase and pick up required supplies.
