Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead the Gateway Operations in our Kearny, NJ facility. You will supervise drivers, dispatchers, and staff, assign work, review performance, and help ensure timely, accurate shipments while maintaining a safe, respectful work environment.

This onsite role requires flexibility and strong leadership. Key duties include staffing, interviewing, training, TSA compliance, GPS tracking, and problem resolution across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree is required.
• 5 years supervisory experience is required.
• Provide leadership and direction for the department.
• Train, coach and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day to day operations.
• Assign work to direct reports.
• Handle and document staff issues and performance reviews.
• Assist with staffing and scheduling to ensure coverage.
• Participate in interviews for new hires.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee records.
• Ensure a clean, harassment-free work environment.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments and resources.
• Monitor scheduling to ensure proper coverage across shifts.
• Use GPS tracking to assign drivers to vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems through action plans.
• Comply with TSA screening of freight.
• Monitor shipment notes and animal welfare.
• Provide guidance to staff and other offices.
