Job summary

Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc in Commerce, CA seeks an Operations Assistant to maintain accurate load visibility, coordinate with internal and external partners, and keep day-to-day terminal operations running smoothly.

You will track outbound loads, manage driver documents, and support delivery execution while escalating delays and exceptions to leaders.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience or familiarity with logistics/terminal operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track outbound loads daily and ensure system updates are accurate.
• Proactively communicate delays to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders before 11 AM.
• Manage driver documentation, including IC paperwork, plates, IFTA, and compliance materials.
• Manifest inbound and outbound freight, ensuring documentation accuracy across systems.
• Schedule delivery appointments and coordinate redeliveries and special routing as needed.
