Job summary

JP Management LLC is seeking an experienced Live-In Superintendent to maintain an apartment complex in Paterson, NJ. The role requires hands-on maintenance, responding to work orders, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

The position is full-time, on-site, with an apartment provided and a competitive hourly wage. Applicants must have 5+ years of property maintenance experience, own tools, and a valid driver's license, and be on-call for weekdays and weekends as

Qualifications

• 5+ years of property maintenance experience with work orders.
• Be on-call during weekdays and weekends as needed to respond to emergencies or requests.
• Must own tools and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests from management and tenants (appliance repairs, plumbing/electrical, painting).
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and cleaning of the building.
• Coordinate and assist with apartment turnovers with external contractors.
• Diagnose problems and perform repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repairs, sheetrock and carpentry.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to minimize emergencies.
