Job summary

Interactive Brokers invites ambitious law students to join its Legal Regulatory Internship Program for a 9‑week onsite experience in Greenwich, CT. You will assist attorneys with regulatory research, prepare memoranda, and support enforcement and compliance initiatives.

Preferred candidates are law students graduating between December 2027 and May 2028 who can commit to on‑site work and demonstrate strong writing and analytical abilities in regulatory contexts.

Qualifications

• Strong research and writing ability for legal memoranda and briefs.
• Understanding of administrative law and regulatory concepts.
• Interest in regulatory law and enforcement proceedings.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with regulatory research and enforcement precedents.
• Help prepare legal memoranda, briefs, and regulatory documents.
• Monitor regulatory developments and compliance issues.
• Gather and organize evidence for enforcement proceedings.
• Help prepare for hearings, depositions, or other proceedings.
• Conduct document review and analysis for investigations.
• Draft correspondence to regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
• Support development of compliance policies and procedures.
