Job summary

Alpha and Omega Semiconductor (AOS) is seeking an HR Representative for Jireh Semiconductor in Hillsboro, OR. The role focuses on leave administration, workers' compensation, and benefits, reporting to the Director of HR.

This onsite position runs Monday–Friday, 9:30 am – 6:30 pm. Flexibility for occasional mornings, evenings, and weekend coverage in a 24/7 manufacturing setting is required to support HR operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field highly preferred
3-5 years of experience working directly in a Human Resources Department, with significant exposure to leave administration
2 years of Paid Leave Oregon administration experience highly preferred
Equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

Advise on leave policies and laws; serve as primary contact for leave types and benefits.
Track leave status, workers' compensation, and accommodations.
Maintain communication with employees on leave to facilitate return-to-work.
Navigate difficult conversations and crisis situations, providing resources.
Administer return-to-work process and coordinate ADA accommodations.
Advise on time-off entries for all leave types and monitor payroll impact.
Prepare reports on leave usage (weekly/monthly/quarterly).
Distribute benefits and leave communications; assist enrollments.
Maintain HR systems and audit data for accuracy.
Support new hire orientations and/or termination process.
Back-up for employee relations issues and investigations.
May support a specific area as main contact for employee relations.
Provide weekend/evening backup coverage as needed.
Other HR duties as assigned.
