Job summary

RFA Engineering is an engineering service provider seeking an entry-level to experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team onsite at a world-class facility. You will apply Lean Manufacturing methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs across the manufacturing process, supporting off-highway equipment production.

The role involves establishing routings, methods and layouts, providing costs and quality plans, and driving continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Familiar with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools/methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Establish routings, methods, processes, and layouts for assembly line.
• Provide costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for current/new products.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for current production.
• Investigate, gather and analyze data and implement solutions.
• Continuous improvements in cost, quality, safety and ergonomics
• Develop and implement plans to support lean manufacturing.
• Improve material flow and material presentation.
• Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
• Lead time studies for capacity, energy, productivity and efficiency
