Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Test & Verification) to lead test and verification of software products across the end-to-end lifecycle, ensuring quality, reliability, and safety standards.

This role requires directing other test engineers, defining requirements, developing tier three tests, and mentoring teams on test environments, automation, and DOORS oversight. Onsite employment with Top Secret clearance consideration may apply.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience with requirements, test development, and/or verification testing.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• Professional experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design, development, and completion of test and verification of software products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality.
• Partners with stakeholders and leads the review and identification of software requirements, test objectives, test strategies, and testability.
• Leads the design of test plans, cases, and scenarios to meet software requirements and specifications.
• Advises on the set up and configuration of test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations to replicate production environments.
• Leads executing test cases and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems, identifying and reporting defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities found during testing processes.
• Advises on test results and feedback on software design and functionality to resolve defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities.
• Leads creating, documenting, and maintaining test plans, procedures, cases, artifacts, metrics, and data in accordance with data privacy and security protocols and standards.
• Leads developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
• Leads software project management functions across test and verification activities involving multifunctional teams.
