We are a rapidly growing organization seeking a hands-on,Onsite Lead Network Systems Administrator to serve as our primary onsite technical point of contact for SHR's contract personnel. This position will help guide our systems administration team in providing Tier III operational support for the J63H Platform Services environment, supporting server infrastructure, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), storage systems, backup and recovery services, and enterprise application environments in theHampton Roads, VA area (Full-Time Onsite). This individual will help oversee and also be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and securing Windows-based server and network systems supporting mission-critical DoD operations, as the company's most senior member onsite. To be considered, you must have an active DoD clearance and reside locally in the Hampton Roads, VA area.
This position supports Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VMware virtualization technologies, storage systems, backup solutions, and enterprise IT services while ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements, RMF controls, STIGs, and IAVAs. The Network System Administrator collaborates with cybersecurity, network operations, and engineering teams to maintain system availability, performance, and security.
