Job summary

Cherry County Hospital & Clinic in Valentine, NE seeks a Lead Clinical Informatics Specialist to guide the CI team and act as the bridge between clinicians and IT to improve workflows and patient care.

You will lead EHR operations, coordinate onboarding and go-lives, oversee Meditech configuration, and provide daily helpdesk support while supporting after-hours needs.

Qualifications

• LPN or RN license required.
• Minimum 3 years of Meditech experience.
• Clinical Informatics or healthcare IT experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• HIPAA knowledge and commitment to patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Cherry County Hospital & Clinic is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Clinical Informatics Specialist (Lead CIS) to join our team. This leadership role is responsible for guiding the Clinical Informatics team and serving as a key link between healthcare providers and information technology to improve clinical workflows, EHR optimization, and patient care delivery.

Position Highlights

• Lead and support the Clinical Informatics team in collaboration with the CIO
