Job summary

STR is seeking a Lead All-Source Analyst and Modeling Engineer with strong intelligence and cyber backgrounds. You will blend intelligence tradecraft with software development and reverse engineering to build innovative cybersecurity solutions.

Work must be performed onsite in Arlington, VA, with frequent collaboration across multi‑disciplinary teams to tackle hard target problems. You will develop tools to sift large datasets, create system models from circuit diagrams and code, and present

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph (or willingness to obtain CI polygraph)
BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years experience
Experience with all‑source intelligence tools and databases (e.g., DataXplorer, XKeyScore)
Experience with data analysis and automation: pandas, SQL, scripting

Responsibilities

Develop tools and automated workflows to sift through large datasets for modeling and intelligence efforts
Apply all‑source intelligence tradecraft and technical analysis to create system models from circuit diagrams, schematics, source code, and signal processing algorithms
Leverage intelligence databases and analytic tools to support technical collection and threat modeling
Create custom query logic and scripts to extract, correlate, and analyze data across databases and repositories
Work in multi‑disciplinary teams to tackle challenging problems and develop cybersecurity solutions
Apply network analysis, COMINT, and SIGINT tradecraft to technical problems
Document, demonstrate, and present research findings to technical and non‑technical audiences
Brief leadership on project status, findings, and operational impacts
Solve real world problems that have an impact on national security
