Job summary

The University of Michigan - Flint invites applications for a CIT Laboratory Service Coordinator (onsite). This 10-month seasonal, full-time hourly role runs Aug 1, 2025 through May 31, 2026, supporting biology and other instructional labs across the College of Innovation & Technology.

Expect 40 hours per week and active problem-solving to keep teaching operations running smoothly. Reporting to the Director of Laboratory Operations & Development, you will supervise prep attendants, assist with

Qualifications

• Two or more years of relevant experience in area of specialization.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with laboratory safety policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with common lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide laboratory set up and support to assigned courses and others as determined by supervisor.
• Maintain updated prep documents.
• Work with Natural Science Lab Support Supervisor to update lab manuals.
