Job summary

Pace is seeking a Lab Technician to join our Indianapolis, IN laboratory in the sample preparation department. This on-site, full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, and provides training to advance your laboratory career.

You will support scientists by preparing water and soil samples, following established procedures, handling solvents with PPE, and maintaining documentation in our databases. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and Pace offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear PPE.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare water and soil samples prior to analysis.
• Follow established sample preparation procedures.
• Work with solvents and chemicals for sample preparation.
• Maintain and update documentation and databases.
