Acro Service Corporation is seeking a Laboratory Technician 2 to support engineering labs in Woodland Hills, CA. The role involves handling test equipment, coordinating repairs, calibrations, and test setups while ensuring safety and proper documentation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with relevant experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work onsite. The position requires collaboration with engineers and the ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Qualificações

• High school diploma plus two years of relevant experience.
• Experience in engineering labs, test environments, or manufacturing settings.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety guidelines.
• Basic understanding of hand tools, test equipment, and hardware.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for equipment and documentation.
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, CA.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret security clearance.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with engineers and technicians.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in managing and tracking test equipment assets, including inventory updates and documentation.
• Serve as a regular point of contact for routine engineering lab operations and readiness needs.
• Coordinate repair activities for malfunctioning or damaged test equipment and track status to closure.
• Coordinate calibration, maintenance, and repair of tools with internal and external resources.
• Prepare test setups and configurations, staging hardware, fixtures, cables, and instrumentation.
• Maintain organized test areas; ensure tools and equipment are labeled and stored per procedures.
• Communicate equipment status and calibration schedules to engineers and test leads promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering, test, and program management to align lab capabilities with needs.
