Pace Life Sciences is seeking an Equipment Specialist II for our Oakdale, MN site. The role focuses on maintenance, repair, and qualification of laboratory instrumentation with on-call support and vendor coordination.

The ideal candidate has a chemistry-related degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience, plus strong documentation and communication skills to support quality systems and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry or closely related field required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation, analytics, and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, qualification, troubleshooting, and repairs of laboratory equipment.
• Coordinate and oversee vendor management for onboarding, inventory, repair, and decommissioning of equipment.
• Provide on-call support during non-standard business hours to address critical equipment excursions.
• Draft and/or revise technical documentation and SOPs, calibration procedures, qualification protocols, and related documents.
• Audit and ensure accuracy of equipment data and compliance with quality systems.
