Job summary

Responsibilities

• Accessions patient information into Laboratory information system(s).
• Adheres to safety, health regulatory and hospital policies.
• Monitors laboratory equipment and temperature controlled units.
• Maintains logs and records for Laboratory transactions.
• Performs patient draws in a timely, safe manner.
• Venipuncture and specimen collection following procedures.
• Provide training to new Lab Assistants.
• Process specimens according to procedures.
• Resolve routine problems using department knowledge.
