Job summary

GM Performance Power Units LLC in Concord, NC is seeking a Junior Quality Engineer to join the Metrology Lab. You will support dimensional inspection, data analysis, and quality documentation for power unit components, learning advanced measurement techniques alongside seasoned engineers.

You will gain hands-on experience with CMMs, metrology software, GD&T, and QC processes that underpin Formula 1 power unit development. Collaborative team environment and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Up to 2 years in manufacturing, quality, or engineering recommended.
• Familiarity with dimensional metrology and GD&T is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections of power unit components.
• Support development and execution of measurement routines.
• Analyze and document measurement data for engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Assist with first article inspections and validation activities.
• Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
