Job summary

Ideal candidates are newly admitted California attorneys or junior associates with strong research and writing skills and a genuine interest in construction and real estate litigation.

Qualifications

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• 0–3 years of litigation experience preferred; newly admitted attorneys encouraged.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Experience drafting legal documents and supporting litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters involving construction, business, and real estate disputes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, mediation briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings.
• Assist with case preparation, document review, witness preparation, and trial preparation.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnesses.
• Work with senior attorneys from evaluation through resolution.
• Take on increasing responsibility for case management as experience develops.
