Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager for the Javelin Joint Venture team, onsite in Tucson, Arizona. You will apply MRP knowledge, lead procurement and budgeting, and collaborate across the matrixed organization to meet program objectives.

You will drive risk and opportunity plans, manage supplier engagements, and ensure alignment with annual operating plans while navigating high-pressure defense programs. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with minimum 8 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Forecasting experience demonstrates financial acumen.
• Defense industry supply chain experience preferred.
• U.S. citizenship required for access to program/contract.
• FAR/DFAR knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute material strategies to support program objectives.
• Support supplier, program, and IPT reviews with procurement plan visibility.
• Identify procurement gaps and drive throughput with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity plans to meet AOP and program duties.
• Manage budgets for buy parts and supply chain labor in EAC.
• Provide Can-Build oversight with metrics and health assessments.
• Support proposals and start-up with Material Product Strategies and Plans.
• Engage suppliers via RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and interpret proposals.
• Flow customer/product requirements to suppliers and manage supplier risk.
