Job summary

Universal Avionics in Tucson, AZ is seeking an IT Software Developer - Enterprise Applications for on-site work. You will join a team to integrate ERP, PLM, MES, and data migration efforts, delivering scalable solutions across engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.

You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise applications, APIs, and RPA workflows to streamline processes, improve data quality, and support lifecycle management in a regulated aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience developing, configuring, integrating, or supporting business applications in a complex enterprise environment.
• 3+ years with PLM or product data management platforms, including a production implementation or major upgrade.
• 3+ years data migration or conversion experience, including complete migration cycles.
• Experience integrating or supporting MES or shop-floor systems.
• Experience designing or supporting RPA workflows.
• Experience extending ERP functionality across multiple business workstreams.
• Experience building integrations using APIs, middleware, messaging, file exchange, or similar patterns.

Responsibilities

• Configure, integrate, and support PLM capabilities and product data processes, including BOMs, engineering changes, and lifecycle management.
• Design and extend ERP functionality across business workstreams.
• Plan and execute complex data migrations and conversions, from source mapping through cutover and validation.
• Build and support integrations between MES, ERP, PLM, and shop-floor systems.
• Design and support RPA workflows that automate manual engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other teams to translate operational needs into solutions.
• Develop and maintain production-ready code, configurations, workflows, reports, and data components.
• Support releases, troubleshoot critical applications, and implement durable fixes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve data quality.
