Cybersecurity Jobs in Santa Fe, NM is seeking an IT Security Analyst to advance state cybersecurity initiatives. This onsite role supports governance, compliance, and security services across New Mexico, working with the State CIO and public-sector customers to strengthen security posture.

Responsibilities include SOC monitoring, risk management, incident response, and oversight of security programs such as VMaaS and ASM.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required or equivalent experience.
At least two years in IT security or compliance validation (HIPAA, PCI) as applicable.
Security certifications or regulated compliance experience can substitute for part of the experience.
Experience with security policies, procedures, and documentation is expected.

Responsibilities

Assist with implementing proactive cybersecurity compliance strategies and identifying risks.
Support threat assessment, monitoring, and incident response strategies.
Provide consultative and training services with a security-first focus.
Oversee security services for state agencies and other entities; coordinate responses.
Develop and review policies, configuration, and change management plans.
