Job summary

TechNix LLC seeks a Senior Project Manager for an in-person role at the DOT location in New York, NY. The consultant will lead internal and external teams, manage scope, schedules, costs, and ensure on-time delivery of large-scale workflow software initiatives for NYC DOT.

The role requires 10+ years of project management, PMP certification preferred, and strong experience with PM tools such as MS-Project, Jira, Primavera, and Azure DevOps. Excellent stakeholder communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience overseeing medium to large scale projects with multiple work streams.
• Led teams of 15+ and served as primary point of contact for requesting agency regarding project status and budgets.
• Experience with SDLC processes and utilizing PM tools (MS-Project, Jira, Primavera, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of GIS tools and asset management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, develop schedules, monitor budgets/costs, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Apply PM concepts for high-complexity projects.
• Monitor activities and resources to mitigate risk.
• Supervise programming staff involved in application development.
