Job summary

HCL Technologies is seeking an experienced on-site IT/OT support engineer to act as the site SPOC for critical incidents and routine maintenance. You will manage incident triage, coordinate with remote teams, and provide hands-on break-fix support to keep operations running.

Responsibilities include daily site walkthroughs, updating knowledge bases, and collaborating with L2/L3 teams and vendors. Some travel and on-call duties are required to support business operations across sites.

Qualifications

Minimum 5-7 years hands-on deskside/onsite IT engineer experience.
Strong Windows/Mac OS troubleshooting and installation skills.
Experience with network and datacenter devices
Familiarity with IT-OT systems (SCADA/PLC/HMI) and industrial networking
Experience using ITIL processes and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow/BMC Remedy

Responsibilities

Act as Site SPOC for P1/P2 incidents and coordinate with the Critical Incident Manager.
Triage and assign site alerts and incidents; provide hands-on break-fix support when needed.
Conduct daily site walkthroughs and routine maintenance to ensure healthy IT systems.
Maintain site knowledge base and update operation manuals; support change management.
Bridge L2/L3 teams with business stakeholders and coordinate with vendors/OEMs.
