Job summary

HCLTech in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced onsite IT engineer for site operations and preventive maintenance. You will act as the site SPOC for P1/P2 incidents, perform triage, and provide hands-on support for break-fix issues that cannot be resolved remotely.

You will conduct daily site walkthroughs, maintain knowledge bases, participate in change activities, and coordinate with L2/L3 teams and vendors. On-call, possible travel, and rotating shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7yrs hands on dedicated experience as deskside/Onsite support/local IT engineer
• Strong Windows OS installation and troubleshooting skills (Win10/Win11/Mac OS X)
• Experience providing hands & feet support for network and datacenter equipment/devices
• Familiarity with IT-OT systems (SCADA, PLC, HMI) and industrial networking
• Proficient in ticketing and SLA tracking with ITIL practices

Responsibilities

• Act as Site SPOC for critical incidents and coordinate with the Critical Incident Manager
• Triage and assign site alerts/incidents
• Hands-on support for break-fix issues requiring on-site presence
• Maintain site SOPs and knowledge bases
• Coordinate and shadow dispatch engineers during work completion
• Engage and elevate IT issues impacting business operations
• Attend operations meetings and site reviews with stakeholders
