Job summary

Nucor Corporation seeks an IT Operations Technician for its Nucor Business Technology (NBT) team, stationed at River Metals Recycling (RMR). The role includes configuring and maintaining enterprise systems and supporting internal IT partners across the enterprise.

It requires travel up to 50% and on-site presence in Cincinnati, OH. The position emphasizes safety, collaboration with business stakeholders, and progress toward AI-powered solutions to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

1-year technical experience supporting users with hardware, software, administration and IT customer support.
IT related associate degree, or 2 years of equivalent recent experience.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, chat, and ticketing system.
Order, configure, and deploy new equipment and manage inventory.
Assist in installation, maintenance, and licensing of software and applications.
Troubleshoot and maintain IT infrastructure equipment including computers, servers, access control systems, and network devices.
Create and maintain documentation for incidents, projects, and inventory.
Work a rotational on-call IT support schedule including evenings and weekends.
Obtain AZ-900, MD-102, and AZ-104 within the first year.
