Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an IT Onsite Field Service Technician to support and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, phones, Wi-Fi, networks, and other equipment at customer locations. This role is primarily onsite with occasional remote work and includes Tier II IT support.

You will bring the helpdesk to our client’s door while ensuring exceptional customer service. The position runs on-site in Springfield with a 6-month duration and travel within a 45-minute radius.

Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ cert or 1-year hands-on computer experience.
• Office 365 System Support.
• Active Directory (account creation, group policies, domain joins).
• Remote Support Tools (TeamViewer, Bomgar, Quick Assist).
• Experience with Collaboration Software (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx).
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
• PC imaging and configuration, including Windows 11 builds and policy alignment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with an independent working style.
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Onsite troubleshooting at client location.
• Asset inventory tracking and updating.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Daily time tracking and ticket updates.
• Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
• Add/remove devices at domain level.
• Support remote users via remote access tools.
• Mentor peers and contribute to team proficiency.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements.
