Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a customer-focused IT Support Associate to assist with day-to-day application and system issues in the Allentown PA and Delaware Valley area. Authorized to work in the U.S.

and able to handle escalation under SOX/PCI/HIPAA guidelines will be required. Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and 1+ years of IT experience; certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Education (Minimum Needed): Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Technology (preferred).
• Experience (Minimum Needed): One or more years of experience with an Information Technology application or system.
• Knowledge of applying technology solutions (software/hardware) to accommodate business needs.
• Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency with modern desktop and/or mobile computer technology.
• Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
