RTX in Woburn, MA seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for Special Access Programs. The role is 100% onsite, requiring an active U.S. government security clearance.

You will ensure compliance, conduct audits, develop security plans, and educate staff, collaborating with the ISSM, security team, and government representatives.

Within six months you must obtain Security+ or equivalent certification; DoD RMF/JSIG/DAAPM experience is preferred and critical for success.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience with RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM or related standards.
• Experience with DoD classified operating environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system compliance, auditing, security plan development and awareness training.
• Investigate information system security violations and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Collaborate with facility security, program personnel, and government representatives.
• Implement security sustainment activities (hardware/software change management, account management, media protection).
• Obtain and maintain Security+ or equivalent certification within six months of hire.
