Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is hiring a Telecommunications Technician to support ISP/OSP installations at Westover Air Reserve Base, MA. The role is 100% onsite with required flexibility for overtime and travel as needed.

Responsibilities include installing copper and fiber, testing and maintaining communications infrastructure, and ensuring safety and compliance with NEC/EIA standards. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with benefits and potential direct-hire transition depending on

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in Telecommunications (ISP/OSP).
• Experience with structured cable systems, termination equipment and testing procedures.
• Experience in fiber optic splicing and attaching connectors to fiber cables.
• Ability to perform test procedures on copper and fiber and certify results.
• Familiar with NEC grounding practices and EIA/TIA 568 A & B.
• Must follow established safety practices and guidelines.
• Available to work 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday; overtime/weekends as needed.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Install copper and fiber inside plant (ISP) and outside (OSP) and troubleshoot outages.
• Install, rearrange, and maintain inside wiring infrastructure.
• Rearrange splicing and reconnect at pole, underground, or building terminals.
• Connect, disconnect, reconnect, test, repair and maintain customer equipment.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret service orders.
• Keep detailed written records of work activity and changes.
• Inform customers of planned outages and service status.
