Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an Inventory Clerk III at the Memphis Airways distribution facility in Memphis, TN. This onsite role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and inventory transactions, partnering with warehouse teams to ensure records match physical stock.

The position requires 3+ years in inventory control or related operations, experience with ERP systems, and a willingness to work five days a week onsite. Travel is not expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inventory control, warehouse, distribution, or related operational experience.
• Experience conducting cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
• Experience using inventory management, warehouse management, or enterprise resource planning systems to process inventory transactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to validate inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
• Research, analyze, and resolve inventory variances using warehouse systems and inventory records.
• Process inventory-related system transactions to support material movements and inventory control activities.
• Monitor and manage inventory control reports, including expiration, pending purge, stock block, and related inventory status reporting.
• Create and support transfer orders to facilitate inventory movement across locations and operational areas.
• Respond to internal and external inventory-related requests and provide timely resolution of issues.
• Partner with warehouse teams to clear discrepancy areas and maintain inventory compliance standards.
• Support additional inventory management and control activities as required to meet business needs.
