Henry Schein, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage the integrity of dental inventory across 3PL locations and local centers in the San Antonio area. You will perform audits, identify deficiencies, and implement solutions to ensure compliance with company standards.

The role requires 4 years of related experience, strong Excel and data-entry skills, and the ability to travel up to 30% locally. On-site work schedule Monday–Friday in San Antonio, TX.

Qualifications

• 4 years combined experience in equipment installation, purchasing, customer service, order processing, sales operations, or the equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school education typical.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receives inventory and maintains records for all centers of operation.
• Coordinates with ECS and 3PL to ensure timely delivery per invoicing.
• Conducts physical and spot audits; researches deficiencies and implements solutions.
• Manages inventory audits and cycle counts across centers and 3PLs.
• Travel locally up to 25–30% to perform cycle counts at counts and 3PL locations.
• Reports findings to leadership with action plans to eliminate errors and inefficiencies.
• Reconciles audits to maintain inventory levels and reduce write-offs.
• Develops relationships with vendors, ECS, and local management to optimize workflow.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.
• Oversees depreciation reduction and liquidation opportunities to save costs.
• Monitors centers to ensure accurate inventory representation.
• Reports KPIs to identify historical trends in operational performance.
