The role requires pre-admission screenings, data collection, and insurance verification, with collaboration across nursing, clinical staff, and the business office. Onsite work at the facility is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.
• 1+ year experience in healthcare admissions; mental health experience preferred.
• Experience in patient assessment, referral, treatment planning, and communication with external reviewers.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-admission screenings and schedules assessments.
• Provides coverage for the Call Center team; handles phone duties and verifies insurance.
• Coordinates with business office, nursing, and clinical staff for timely admissions.
• Refers inquiries to appropriate agencies when not suitable for facility admission.
• Maintains documentation of admissions process and ongoing communications with referral sources.
• Provides information and referral services for internal and external customers.
