Holmes Murphy in Waukee, IA is offering a 10-week Client Service Internship for Summer 2027. Interns rotate through Brokerage Services teams to gain a holistic view of Holmes Murphy and the insurance industry, focusing on client retention and satisfaction.

The program emphasizes on-site experiences, mentorship from industry leaders, and opportunities to present learnings to business leaders and teammates.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or in pursuit of enrollment at a 4-year institution.
• Majors pursued by interns include Business Administration, Finance, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Health Promotion, Risk Management & Insurance, and more.
• Prior work experience is a plus, preferably in a customer service or administrative role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing existing client relationships.
• Handle day-to-day service needs.
• Assist in ensuring clients receive timely and accurate information.
• Assist the sales and services teams with marketing of new and renewal business to include gathering needed information.
• Assist the sales and service teams with preparation and creation of materials for presentations.
• Attend client meetings.
• Support the sales team by delivering on agreements made during the sales process.
• Additional duties as assigned.
