Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support automated assembly and injection molding manufacturing across product lines in our Tempe site.

You will collaborate with engineering, management, and vendors to ensure robust design, installation, and startup of new equipment. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering field, 3+ years in plastic injection mold processing, and experience with Lean Sigma/Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering; significant experience may substitute.
• Lean Sigma and Six Sigma proficiency with hands-on projects.
• Strong communication and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound engineering support from concept through production.
• Develop specifications for new equipment and process improvements.
• Validate and qualify equipment, tooling, and processes.
• Lead plant and capital projects with proper documentation.
• Improve manufacturing processes to reduce costs and waste.
• Train personnel on new equipment and processes.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
