Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is seeking an Injection Mold Tooling Engineer in Tempe, AZ. You will design, validate, and transfer injection molds, automation tooling, and fixtures to support site production and continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll work with internal teams and external vendors to deliver reliable tooling that meets quality, cost, and schedule targets. The role requires 0–3 years of engineering experience, proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD, and strong analytical and

Qualifications

Education or equivalent: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or commensurate experience.
0–3 years of engineering experience.
Proficiency in SolidWorks.
Proficient in creating and updating 3D CAD models and 2D CAD drawings.
Effective analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred: experience in manufacturing environments, especially injection molding, and GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

Create and update 3D CAD models and drawings for injection molds, end-of-arm tooling, fixtures, and related aids.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, and vendors to resolve tooling issues and implement improvements.
Support installation and commissioning of new molds and automated systems; assist with validation and documentation.
Coordinate with tool vendors and internal teams to track milestones and shipments.
Maintain tool room drawings and documentation, ensure proper revision control.
