Job summary

Patagonia, Inc. in Ventura, CA is seeking an Infant Primary Teacher for a 6-month contract to support our on-site child development program.

The role focuses on primary caregiving and developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants aged 0-2, reporting to the Classroom Manager. Ideal candidates bring at least two years of early childhood experience, relevant ECE units, and familiarity with parent communication.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with young children, at least 150 hours within last 6 months.
• Fifteen Early Childhood Education units; infant/toddler or school-age unit requirements.
• Successful fingerprinting and background check per licensing.
• AA or BA in ECE or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary caregiving and follow classroom manager guidance.
• Track development, manage transitions, and coordinate integration hours.
• Create emergent curriculum and a developmentally appropriate learning environment.
• Communicate with families via newsletters and Educa updates.
