Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. in Utah is seeking a Facility Maintenance Repair Technician to perform on-site maintenance and repairs of industrial processing equipment, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

You will work with conveyors, compressors, hydraulic systems, kilns and boilers, troubleshoot issues, and perform disassembly/reassembly and fabrications as needed; strong safety commitment is required.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience; conveyors, compressors hydraulic system, kiln, boilers, electrical, welding.
• Hydraulic system repair experience and heavy equipment repair background.
• Proficient with computers and systems; ability to work onsite with safety focus.
• DOT training and valid driver's license; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Disassemble/Reassemble facility equipment to examine or repair
• Fabricate metal pieces and replace gaskets as needed
• Determine cause of malfunctioning systems and perform repair or replacement of defective component(s)
• Monitor equipment to ensure all repairs and testing are completed to insure proper operation
