Job summary

Upchurch is seeking an experienced Service In-Plant Industrial Electrician for a food production environment. The role focuses on protecting production capability, supporting food safety objectives, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of critical facility assets.

Onsite work includes installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems with an emphasis on motor controls, PLC-based controls, instrumentation, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial facilities or food processing environments preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications: Journeyman Electrician License/LLE, OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, Industrial Maintenance Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems in food production environments.
• Serve as onsite resource within a customer facility ensuring safe and reliable electrical operation.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on motor controls, power distribution, PLC-based controls, instrumentation, and electrical infrastructure.
