Job summary

Taco, Inc. located in Cranston, RI is hiring an Industrial Electrician to perform a variety of duties supporting building and machine electrical systems. This full-time on-site role requires a Rhode Island Journeyperson Electrician License and at least 4 years of relevant experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical systems, familiar with PLCs, and is OSHA certified. Benefits include competitive salary and on-site training.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of basic electrical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current electrical codes is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electronic and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and identify basic repairs to automation equipment.
• Complete work orders and maintain the computerized maintenance management system.

Skills

Basic electrical experience

Rhode Island Journeyperson Electrician License

Programmable Logic Controller knowledge

Knowledge of HVAC systems

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate Degree in Electrical or Electronics Technology
