Iconcareers is seeking an Electrical Drafting Technician to assist in the design and development of electrical systems. This is a full-time, onsite position based at our Austin, Texas HQ. The Technician will create detailed schematics and documentation based on engineering specifications, supporting manufacturing and installation of automated systems.

The ideal candidate should have over 3 years of drafting experience, proficiency in CAD software, and familiarity with electrical codes and standards. Collaboration with engineering teams is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of drafting experience, preferably in industrial automation or controls.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN.
• Understanding of electrical symbols, control systems, and panel design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise electrical drawings including control panel layouts and wiring diagrams.
• Collaborate with engineers to interpret design requirements.
• Prepare drawings for PLC-based control systems and motor controls.
