Job summary

Cartus is seeking an On-site Immigration Specialist to join our Americas immigration team. The role supports an on-site client in NYC or Dallas, handling nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters and guiding stakeholders through immigration processes.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of corporate US immigration experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong data auditing and Excel skills to ensure accurate government filings and timely milestones.

Qualifications

• 3+ years minimum of corporate US immigration experience in both nonimmigrant and immigrant/green card and visa matters.
• Analytical rigor with data audits and accuracy in government filings.
• Client service focus, responsiveness and a can-do attitude.
• Strong organizational skills and proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage caseload for nonimmigrant and immigrant/green card matters.
• Track work and escalate when needed, using good judgment.
• Liaise with external immigration counsel and HR teams to meet milestones.
• Advise stakeholders on immigration-related business decisions in line with policy.
• Update stakeholders on immigration developments impacting employees.
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting and data validation for filings.
