Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an IDAM Engineer to support a long-term DoD program focused on Navy enterprise identity management, infrastructure automation, cybersecurity, and platform reliability. This position is 100% onsite in Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA; or Honolulu, HI.

The IDAM Engineer will administer Active Directory and related identity tooling, develop automation with PowerShell and Ansible, support CI/CD and IaC, and ensure system performance and compliance across mission-critical

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in identity management or enterprise IT environments.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Security+ or equivalent DoD IAT Level II certification.
• Hands-on AD, GPO, DNS, and DHCP administration.
• Experience with scripting/automation using PowerShell, Python, Ansible.
• Knowledge of SRE, DevOps, CI/CD, or infrastructure automation concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server environments.
• Manage identity management tech including MIM, ADFS, Delinea, PKI.
• Patch systems, perform STIG remediation, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Develop automation with PowerShell, Python, Ansible, and other tools.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code workflows.
• Monitor reliability with Splunk and other monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, systems, network, and cybersecurity teams.
• Maintain documentation, configurations, and runbooks.
