Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks an IDAM Engineer for a long-term Navy DoD program. The role focuses on identity management, Windows infrastructure, and platform reliability, with 100% on-site work in Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA; or Honolulu, HI.

You will implement automation (PowerShell, Python, Ansible), support CI/CD, and ensure security compliance across mission-critical Navy systems. A Secret clearance and DoD IAT II are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in identity management, AD, Windows Server, or enterprise IT environments
• Active Secret clearance and DoD IAT Level II or Security+
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar tools
• Knowledge of SRE, DevOps, CI/CD, or infrastructure automation concepts
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server environments
• Support identity management technologies including MIM, ADFS, Delinea, and PKI
• Develop and maintain PowerShell, Python, Ansible automation to improve operations
• Support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated deployment workflows
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability using Splunk
• Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, systems, network, cybersecurity, and vendor teams
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
